Ellen’s professional journey started in the creative side of Toronto’s theater and film industry before redirecting her focus while completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts at Ryerson University’s prestigious RTA School of Media. Combining her creative background and training as a media producer she decided to focus her talents and unique skill-set in the areas of Social Justice and Human Rights. To that end, she has produced a number of successful campaigns, as well as television series, documentary and experiential media projects. Her work has been featured prominently on Bell Media, CBC, and AMI networks, and continues to garner world-wide attention in online-platforms.
Today, she continues to work in the world of new media production, writing and producing content for creative programming and multimedia public engagement initiatives – using the tools of art and entertainment to make the world a safer, warmer, more just and equal place.
